ESCO – ENERGY SERVICE

Veritas ESCO is the first private ESCO company in the Republic of Croatia specializing in the modernization and reconstruction of public lighting. The company was founded in 2013 when an assembled team of experts recognized the need to modernize over 80% of public lighting in Croatia. The extensive experience of the company’s employees and associates in public lighting maintenance, design, and production activities, as well as thorough knowledge of legal regulations, has resulted in an experienced team capable of solving even the most demanding problems in public lighting modernization at all stages.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Energy efficiency is strongly promoted by the European Union. As part of the EU growth strategy called “Europe 2020,” energy efficiency occupies a central position, being one of the goals established in the climate-energy package 20/20/20, which requires a 20% increase in energy efficiency by 2020. Numerous EU directives and domestic regulations mandate the implementation of energy efficiency measures in many fields, with national legal frameworks obligating local government units to carry out energy efficiency measures.
